ASP Global announces four healthcare supply chain thought leaders, from across distribution and manufacturing, to join their sales team
Dovetailing with the recent addition of Bill Fallon as Senior Vice President of Sales, ASP Global welcomes four health system supply chain executives to support the company’s growing network of strategic sourcing partners and meet the growing demand for ASP’s direct sourcing expertise. Each sales team member brings a deep understanding of the cost drivers embedded in the IDN supply chain. Together, they boast 85+ years of experience in hospital system supply chain and GPO, distributor, and manufacturer management. By connecting health systems to ASP’s capabilities, this expert team will help even more health systems to compress supply costs while taking control of product selection.
“Cost savings are critical for our health system clients, especially in today’s uncertain and competitive environment,” says Bill Fallon, Senior VP of Sales for ASP Global. “But we also want to help health systems keep control over product selection. ASP Global’s model allows health systems to unbundle their supply spend from their distributor relationships, and get started with direct sourcing where it has the most impact within the organization.”
New sale team executives include: Chuck Culpin, Kevin Stoebling, Paul Albarano, and Jeff Bates.
Chuck Culpin, Director, Strategic Accounts & Focused Markets
With more than 20 years of experience building strategic business relationships within hospital systems and surgery centers for Covidien(Medtronic), Health Care Services of New England and All Health of Pennsylvania, Chuck is poised to expand ASP Global’s network as well as create sustainable value for existing clients. Chuck is an award-winning senior account manager and business development professional. “Health systems must improve their margins but also the patient experience,” said Chuck. “ASP Global’s model helps them to win on two fronts – by choosing products that meet their clinicians’ and patients’ preferences, and by finding new savings on the price of those preferred products.”
Kevin Stoebling, Area Vice President, Mid-Atlantic
Kevin brings 12 years of industry experience, previously holding leadership positions in sales and business development with Covidien (Medtronic) and Linet Americas. His product knowledge across therapeutic areas is unmatched. “The model that ASP Global has built – offering high-quality products at factory pricing directly to healthcare providers – is the hospital supply chain of the future,” says Kevin Stoebling. “It allows our partners to ‘think outside the catalog’ when it comes to product selection and work with ASP’s manufacturing network for easy direct sourcing.”
Paul Albarano, Area Vice President, Northeast
Paul has more than 30 years of experience in health system supply chain and distribution strategy. He has created client value for Baxter Healthcare, Kimberly Clark Healthcare, TransMed USA, and has spent the last six years growing strategic partnerships with IDN’s at the corporate and supply chain level for Cook Medical. Paul shared, “ASP Global helps health systems cut out the non-value costs in their supply chain that don’t serve their mission. We’re looking forward to putting the health system back in control over many product categories that had been sourced on ‘auto-pilot’.”
Jeff Bates, Area Vice President, Southeast
Prior to joining ASP Global, Jeff held leadership positions for Covidien (Medtronic), Medline, and Maquet, USA. During his 11 years with Covidien, Jeff led various steering committees for the company related to new products and logistics. He is an active member of the Suncoast chapter of AHRMM (FL), FPIC and GAPIC. “Many health systems are struggling to access new sources of savings after typical contract prices plateau” said Jeff. “ASP Global opens up a new savings strategy in a large array of med-surg supplies as well as patient preference items (care products used by the patient during their stay or at home).”
“Each member of our expanded team understands the cost drivers hidden inside health systems’ supply spend,” said Lorne Tritt, CEO of ASP Global. “We’re excited to share their expertise with our health system clients as we deliver preferred products at the best prices available.”
