At ASP Global, our mission is simple: support the full continuum of healthcare in any setting: hospitals, IDNs, home health, hospice and group practices. We improve quality, reduce risk, enhance transparency and cut costs on medical products every day for some of the nation’s largest hospitals including Banner Health, New York Presbyterian, Northside Hospital, Sisters of Mercy, Westchester Medical Center Health Network and others.
Because global sourcing has the capability to positively affect both sides of the healthcare value equation, ASP Global recently announced our acquisition of InHome Medical Solutions.
InHome Medical Solutions is a leading wholesale medical products distribution company serving home health and hospice providers.
According to the Congressional Budget Office, Medicare hospice and home health reimbursement is expected to reach $53 billion in 2020, a more than 60 percent increase over 2011 levels.
With this new relationship, InHome Medical CEO Todd LaVelle says, “More home care and hospice providers can now access a wider array of high quality, lower cost medical products quickly delivered directly to the point-of-care through the combined forces of ASP Global, Tiger Medical Group and InHome Medical. This new relationship expands our collective capability of positively impacting quality of care across the continuum.”
LaVelle will stay on to run the business unit which will be the Non-Acute division of ASP Global. InHome utilizes five U.S. distribution centers to provide one-to-two business day delivery to 96% of the country.
